How does Incog Swap work?+
Incog Swap scans connected swap providers in real time, compares available routes, and lets you create a swap order with the provider you select directly inside Incog Swap.
Does Incog Swap hold my funds?+
No. Incog Swap is non-custodial. Funds are sent directly to the selected provider's deposit address — Incog Swap never touches your assets and never stores private keys, seed phrases or wallet credentials.
What is the difference between fixed and floating rate?+
A fixed rate locks the quoted receive amount for a limited time. A floating rate may change slightly depending on market movement before the swap completes. Floating routes are typically cheaper; fixed routes give you a guaranteed receive amount as long as you deposit before the quote expires.
Can I choose which provider I use?+
Yes. Incog Swap shows available providers for your selected tokens and networks. You can select the provider you want before creating the swap order.
Are token networks supported correctly?+
Yes. Incog Swap checks provider support for each exact token/network variant — such as USDC on Base or USDT on Tron — before showing routes. Unsupported variants are hidden so an order can never be created on a network the provider doesn't handle.
Will I receive email updates?+
Yes. Enter your email during the swap flow to receive order confirmations and status updates. If the selected provider supports customer notifications, those are used directly; otherwise Incog Swap sends the updates.
Why do quotes expire?+
Rates move with the market. Locking quotes for a short window lets you confirm with confidence without being exposed to unbounded slippage. After expiry just rescan and the routes refresh.
What is the privacy score?+
A composite score from 0–100 weighting KYC policy, log retention, IP shielding, jurisdiction and on-chain hygiene for each provider.
What happens if the provider fails?+
If a deposit arrives outside the expected window providers refund to the refund address you supplied. Always set one when possible.
Does Incog Swap require an account?+
No. Incog Swap is account-free. We never ask for an ID, KYC or wallet connection. Your email is only used for order updates.
